Glenn Lesko is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Bloomberg Tradebook LLC, an electronic agency broker for institutional traders, broker-dealers, hedge fund managers, plan sponsors, market makers, and portfolio managers worldwide. Prior to joining Bloomberg Tradebook, Glenn was Managing Director of Instinet’s Americas equities business and previously was CEO of Instinet in Asia, responsible for Instinet Japan Limited, Instinet Pacific Limited, Instinet Singapore Services Private Limited and Instinet Australia Pty Limited. Glenn also headed Instinet’s U.S.-based International Trading Group. He joined Instinet in 2006 from CF Global Trading, where he had served as a partner since 2003, and before that, served two years as a managing director at Deutsche Bank, directing the firm’s international trading desk. Prior to that, Glenn spent 10 years at ABN AMRO and its affiliates, first heading its Asian trading desk in Hong Kong and later its international trading desk in New York. Glenn received a Bachelor of Arts from Lafayette College and is a CFA® charterholder.
Yurij Baransky is the Global Head of Product Development where he oversees all aspects of building and maintaining Bloomberg Tradebook’s equity, derivatives, FX, fixed income and algorithmic trading functionality. Yurij joined Bloomberg L.P. in 2000, and has held various programming a nd management positions in Bloomberg R&D. He previously oversaw the US Listed Options trading platform and his team developed and launched the Tradebook PAIR trading platform. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Yurij worked at Deutsche Bank and IBM where he served as a research staff member in the T.J. Watson Research Division. Yurij holds a PhD in Plasma Physics from Columbia University, where he was also an Oak Ridge Fusion Fellow In Residence.
Jerry Burke joined Bloomberg Tradebook in 2010 as its Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the Tradebook business. Prior to joining Bloomberg Tradebook, Jerry was senior managing director and chief operating officer at Pali Capital. He spent the previous 17 years at Merrill Lynch in various senior finance roles, including chief financial officer of Global Equities, Fixed Income, Treasury, Global Operations and Services, and External Financial Reporting. He also served as head of the Global Internal Control Group. Jerry earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Pace University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Syed Fazli joined Bloomberg R&D in 1998 and has been leading Tradebook’s technology organization since 2010. He is responsible for management and vision for all aspects of technology for Tradebook across all asset classes. Syed’s experience covers the whole gamut of disciplines from real-time market data, historical data and reference data to electronic tradingPrior to joining Bloomberg, Syed was responsible for development of market data distribution platform at Dow Jones Telerate. Syed holds an engineering degree from California State University at Long Beach, in Computer Science & Engineering and is a member of the ACM. He is a FINRA Series 99 certified professional.
Sabrina Gagliotta is Bloomberg Tradebook’s Global Head of Trading and Execution Consulting. She joined the company in 2005 where she previously held roles in product management. As Global Head of Trading and Execution Consulting, she is responsible for delivering measurable and unique solutions to clients around data analysis, technology, analytics and market structure. Part of the Execution Consultant model is to add value to the trading cycle beginning with pre-trade strategy to real-time implementation analytics and alerts ending with post trade evaluation. In her previous position at Tradebook, Sabrina was responsible for managing product development for Tradebook’s Global Equities platform, overseeing all aspects of the product build and algorithmic trading functionality. Prior to her roles in Tradebook, Sabrina spent a year and a half developing Bloomberg’s Sell Side Order Management System (SSEOMS). Before joining Bloomberg, Sabrina spent 6 years as a market-maker at Schwab Soundview Capital Markets, trading the Technology sector for both retail and institutional clients. Sabrina holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Math and Italian from the University of Pennsylvania.
David Loffredo joined Bloomberg Tradebook in 2009. His global operations group is responsible for all aspects of post trade processing across Tradebook’s five asset classes – US Equities, Global Equities, Futures, Options, and FX. In Addition, his group administers Tradebook’s Enterprise Solutions and Commission Management programs. Prior to joining Bloomberg Tradebook, David was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers. Before that he was a Partner in Accenture’s Capital Markets Practice where he specialized in Exchanges and Electronic Trading. David has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University and is on the Board of Directors of the Westport Little League.
Liron Mandelbaum has been with Bloomberg Tradebook since 2005. In 2007 Liron created the marketing function at Tradebook by working with the Product and Sales teams globally to develop a unified marketing approach for the firm. As Chief Marketing Officer, he is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategy globally. His experience covers client communication, engagement and education for the equities, futures, options, FX, fixed income and managed services offerings. Prior to his role in marketing he worked in business development and account management for equities and options. Liron joined Bloomberg in 2001 and prior to joining Tradebook he was a specialist at Bloomberg Analytics group focused on automated analysis and trading strategies. Liron holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Columbia Business School and Bachelors of Arts in both Economics and History from Rutgers University.
Rob Shapiro is Bloomberg Tradebook’s Chief Risk Officer where he is responsible for all decisions on risk management that directly impact the strategic direction of the company. He is also the Chief of Staff with the goal of increasing the efficiency of the organization and helping the firm execute on strategic initiatives. Rob joined Bloomberg Tradebook in 2010 where he previously served as the Global Head of Trading and Execution Consulting. Prior to joining Bloomberg Tradebook, Rob was COO of global trading for Morgan Stanley Investment Management (2007–2010) where he was responsible for factors related to trade optimization, including trading technology, trade analytics, execution strategy, and performance measurement. Rob joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management from Abel Noser, Inc., where he served as senior vice president of advanced trading strategies (2005–2007). Earlier, he had been head trader of Iridian Asset Management (1999–2004). Rob began his Wall Street career as an international equity proprietary trader and sales trader at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Inc. (1986–1997); he also served as an institutional research salesperson at Kempen & Co USA (1998) and SEB Enskilda Securities, Inc. (1999).
Joseph Zangri has been with Bloomberg since 2000. He began as the Chief Compliance Officer for Bloomberg Tradebook LLC and became the Global Head of Compliance in 2004. Prior to joining Bloomberg Tradebook, Joseph practiced law as a senior enforcement attorney at the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Northeast Regional Office in New York. Earlier, he served as an assistant district attorney in the White Collar Crime Division of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Joseph earned his law degree from Fordham University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany. He is a member of the New York State Bar and a FINRA Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional. He holds Series 7, 63, 24, 3 licenses as well as a Canadian Securities Senior Officer License. He is on the Board of Directors of the State University of New York at Albany Rugby Football Club.
